Crisis Intervention

If you or someone you love is experiencing a mental health crisis, please call
(928) 445-5211 ext. 1 
or walk in to the Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU)
at
8655 East Eastridge Drive, Prescott Valley, AZ. 

​The Crisis Stabilization Unit is a single-point triage center, staffed with compassionate and skilled mental health professionals, peer support specialists, and medical professionals. We provide crisis assessments, counseling, medication, referrals to ongoing services, and more to anyone in crisis. The CSU is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for acute mental health and substance use issues.

988 is the National Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.  You can call/text and talk with a trained counselor 24/7.

​WE PROVIDE CRISIS INTERVENTION FOR YOUR SPECIFIC NEEDS

Our goal is to stabilize the individual in crisis and release them, with a safety plan in place, within 24 hours; however, if this is not possible, we do have a number of psychiatric beds available where a client can remain until stabilization is reached.
Possible signs that you or someone you love may be experiencing a mental health or substance use-related crisis
Include but are not limited to:
  • Thinking and/or talking about suicide or self-harm
  • Acute intoxication
  • Panic attacks, overwhelming anxiety
  • Acute episodes related to mood disorders, including bipolar disorder
  • Debilitating clinical depression
  • Insomnia
  • Hallucinations, including those related to schizophrenia
  • Delusions
