VICE PRESIDENT OF CLINICAL SERVICES

Leah May, MS, MSW, LCSW is the Vice President of Clinical Services at Polara Health, providing executive leadership and strategic oversight for behavioral health services across inpatient, residential, crisis, outpatient, and integrated care settings. With more than 15 years of experience serving vulnerable and marginalized individuals, children, families, and adults, she has dedicated her career to expanding access to quality behavioral healthcare and strengthening community-based systems of care.

In her work as a Clinician, Leah provided therapy, crisis intervention, and care coordination for children, families, and adults experiencing complex trauma, serious mental illness, substance use disorders, involvement with child welfare and legal systems, housing instability, and other significant life challenges. Her clinical foundation continues to shape her leadership approach, emphasizing person-centered care, trauma-informed practices, and addressing social determinants of health that impact recovery and well-being.

Throughout her career, Leah has advanced through progressive leadership roles, leading initiatives that improve access to care, integrate services across the continuum, strengthen quality outcomes, and support sustainable organizational growth. She has extensive experience building high-performing teams, advancing population health strategies, and fostering partnerships with health plans, community organizations, state agencies, and healthcare providers to better serve individuals and families.

Leah holds Master Degrees in Social Work and Healthcare Administration and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She is passionate about developing systems of care that promote resilience, recovery, and equitable access to behavioral health services for all members of the community.
